An IT Business Analyst (Life & Pensions) is sought by a FinTech company based in Wimbledon, London, paying up to £60,000 + Benefits

As the company embarks on its international expansion, you will get to work on new products and greenfield projects.

As a Business Analyst (Life & Pensions), key elements of your role will involve:

  • Undertaking Business Analysis, and where appropriate, to re-engineer processes related to the product, to increase overall product adoption.
  • Acting as the product owner, where appropriate, in the analysis and design of client and or product implementations.
  • Assisting the product manager in delivering features/functionality to help users maximise efficiencies and increase overall product adoption.
  • Helping design, implement and manage an Agile process and support a continuous delivery release process.

Experience we look for from our Business Analysts:

  • Able to write effective user stories with clear acceptance criteria so that large product change can be broken down into smaller incremental changes allowing value for customer groups to be delivered sooner.
  • Pension Industry knowledge – SIPP’s/L&P/Annuities/Endowments/DB/DC/Defined Benefit/Defined Contribution
  • Able to engage engineering teams by clearly articulating requirements and assessing viability of solutions being presented.
  • To ensure that regulatory criteria is met through the design process
  • Stakeholder Management – liaison with the business and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues and to ensure that business sponsors fully understand and agree with the project analyses, conclusions and recommendations.
  • Project Participation – assistance with project activities and liaison with other client project teams to manage project inter-dependencies and milestones for common function.
  • Release Management – supporting the planning and release of change in line with both the Product and Delivery Roadmaps.
  • Financial Services background in the Life & Pensions industry
  • Understanding of API’s.
